12d Model 10 is now entering the Beta stage and a number of exciting developments were shown at the conference including:
Dynamic GIS Interface where presenters hooked up
live to ARC GIS systems in Bundaberg and St Paul
(USA) to obtain background photos and data directly
from the GIS systems.
Timelines – moving vehicles, trains and planes can
now be part of 12d Visualisations, and also used for
construction sequencing and traffic simulations.
Design Components provide libraries of intersection
and roundabout objects for quick insertion into a
design in both 2D and 3D.
12d Field Pickup provides the ultimate approach to
survey data collection with 12dʼs unique hierarchical
attributes with simple-to-manage coding, templating
and instrument control, all in the field.
