12d Model Updates

The initial installation of the Release version of 12d Model software is done using the 12d Model Installation CD. The install:

(a)	creates and loads a folder structure for the 12d Model software including an executable folder and set ups and library folders
(b)	installs the on-line help
(c)	creates folders for Training and Courses
(d)	installs the on-line macro manual
(e)	creates desktop icons to start 12d Model
(f)	adds items to the Programs section of the Start menu
(g)	installs the driver for the dongle (hardlock)

The 12d Model Installation CD also includes a number of manuals in PDF format. They include the:

(h)	Menu map
(i)	Getting Started for Design manual
(j)	Getting Started for Surveying manual
(k)	Course notes
(l)	Reference manual – a PDF version of the on-line help

When a minor upgrade is released, some or all of the areas (a), (b) and (c) may need to be updated. Each part can be downloaded in the 12d Model section.

The Dongle driver is for the Glenco dongle or Wibu Dongle (hardlock) used with 12d Model. The driver can be downloaded from the Dongle Driver section.

The Menu map is a PDF file showing all the options on the 12d Model menu system. It can be printed out for quick referencing. It can be downloaded from the Menu map section.
